A Day In The Life Of Me!!!

Okay, so we wanted a more in depth look into what I actually do with myself throughout the day.....

.....

Oh, man! What do I do with myself all day?.........

Well, I......no, I don't..........

I might..........nope, never mind........

Alright, new plan. We'll start with common features.

I normally wake up about 6:30 a.m., but laze about my bed til 7:30 a.m. before leaping out of my bed and getting ready for my work day. One of the things I like best about work is you could get dressed up if you want, but for the most part, I can dress as I did going to class except no t-shirts unless they have some influence or involvement from the company. It makes me happy that I can still be relaxed and comfortable there. (I haven't tried dressing up for work since the first day.)

I get to work ~8:00 a.m., try to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing at work. I have been buying boxes of Twix and Snickers at Coscos, so I've been keeping myself well-supplied with chocolate while at work. I try to exercise my will-power by not having one until after 10a.m., some days I'm more successful then others, and it inevitably happens that as soon as I break down and have one type of candy bar, nothing will be acceptable but to have the other one soon after. After all, it's swine flu season apparently, and with that going around, I'm not going to risk a single day of getting sick, so I'm eating the chocolate for self-preservation and medical reasons!

Normally, at 12:00, I go to a 10 min abs class. I don't have to dress down for it, so I can just show up and do the little workout. I'm trying to develop my one pack that I have into at least something resembling a different type of pack of any other number combinations. After working out we walk the company building, which makes it almost a two mile walk in less then 30 mins. It's pretty relaxing for me as I'm able to go really fast with my joy in walking and natural long stride.

Then it's back to me trying to figure out work or not. I might go and grab lunch, or bring my own, or not eat and instead have the fruit snacks that say they're giving me 100% of my Vitamin C, which is the reason why they are not pictured in the photo above. I also have a standing issue with some left-over chocolate mini-eggs that I hoarded over from Easter. This year, I bought in bulk before Easter when I would find them at Wal-mart. The day before Easter, I had accumulated about 10 bags of mini-eggs for storage during the time til Christmas, when, hopefully, Cadbury will bring out it's holiday Christmas mini-eggs. Of course, the Easter bags are not lasting like I hope, as you can see from the picture there are only three bags left (though one is not shown as it is at my work desk). I have given myself restrictions when having them at work. I can only open a new bag of them sometime after 3:00p.m. (as it takes me much less then an hour to eat an entire bag by myself), and any leftovers (ones that miraculously were not consumed before the end of my work day that day) cannot be consumed until after 3:00p.m. the next time that I wish to eat them (which normally falls on the next day). But what I've found, is that with my knowledge of my dwindling supply, I am not as likely to open a new bag as often. So I torture myself everyday with seeing it in my candy drawer at work, but have not as much desire to open it as they could be close to an extinct food source for me. I have them on days that I cannot resist them anymore. And by the way, I am still trying to work during these internal struggles that I have with myself.

At ~5:00p.m., I head down to one of the fitness centers that they have with work and I run on the treadmill for about 40 mins. I'm normally able to get about 3.5 miles of running in, which I really love doing. I'm feeling the chocolate consumption working through my body, so I feel really great about consuming it. Then, and this is really surprising, I've started lifting weights and stuff, so after my run, I probably spend about another 40 mins going around to different machines, focusing on strengthening my arms and just doing some stuff for my legs for fun! It's been really good for me to get back into an exercise routine, as I never did at college because it would make me too tired and then I would never get my homework done (how can you stay up all night working on homework when you are exhausted!). Anyway, in the picture below you can see my workout bag that I use.

After work and working out, the traffic has dissapated enough for me to get comfortably home in Schultz and from there I've been playing around. I've been decorating the walls of my room with puzzles. Some of them are old ones from college that I really love and then others are new ones that I've done recently to take up more space.

I've gotta get ready for church now, so I'm going to post since they come so few and far between. But anyway the next two pictures are of me in a shirt that my parents got me when they went on their trip with Greg to the East coast. They got me an awesome chocolate shirt that I absolutely adore from Hershey's Time Square in New York!

I'll try to post more things that I've been doing tonight, but of course.....let's not hold me to my word.

"As Time Goes By......"

Okay, I know that I have been just awful. I would like to take this opportunity to tell Cami that I am sorry that I didn't post anything on my blog a couple of Sundays ago, when I had told her that I would be doing that as soon as I got off the phone with her. A definition for "Liar" is: a person who lies. A definition for "Lies" is: to present a false impression, be deceptive. I would like it understood that at the time that I said it, it was not a lie, but turned into a lie when I did not do what I said. And to quote Hagrid from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, "If anyone wanted ter find out some stuff, all they'd have ter do would be ter follow the spiders. That'd lead 'em right! That's all I'm sayin'."

Anyway, many have been wondering how I am liking Texas! I'm doing great! Right now I'm living in a house with six other girls, so it's still like being in college, only I'm working 40 hours a week instead. But it's kind of late at night right now, so I'll have to post more later, however I should be more apt to do that because I want to talk about what I've been doing while I'm down here. So I'll write that to ya'll later!

Update

Sorry about being so slow to update. I think that whenever I actually have the internet access so easily at my disposal, I don't update....hmmmm, maybe I could do a scientific experiment....or just leave it to fate. (Let's not try to exert ourselves too much, shall we?)

Anyway, I moved back to Texas at the end of February and am currently set up in my own room living in a house with 6 other girls, so it's fun and crazy here like at college but without the homework. It's nice. I'll try to take some pictures and update really soon, but I was able to get my haircut last week, though it's not as short as some....Cami.....

I look forward to checking others updates and I'll try to be better about relating some of the happenings here in Texas!

Lots of Love to All!

Auburn? Or Not?

Okay, so it's been a while since I did this....this being getting my hair dyed with my preferred color - auburn!

Let's start at the beginning.
Tired of that dull brown hair....

Then begin changing it up...

To AUBURN!!!!!

Doesn't that look like so much fun?! I look so much happier, all because my hair color has changed.... just kidding. It's actually very subtle and will really start showing if I'm out in the sun. But I still love it and think that it's great!

P.S. I was actually playing with some of the features on my laptop to see what sort of editing I can do, so I'm reposting some of the graduation pictures and adding a couple of panoramics too!

The panoramics may look small but click on them and see what they look like.

More Random Pictures

Here are some more random photos that I took. In this picture you can see the beauty of Idaho in the winter time. The snow is here right now and I am really enjoying it (particularly because I'm not likely to see much of it when I go down to Texas).

This next picture are of me and my great friend Janae just playing around with my camera while we were waiting in her car at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. I like the picture of me because it helps me to look so....innocent.... mwhahahahahahaha!

I'm also inserting another picture of my family that I took. I actually thought that it turned out quite well. This is only a little part of my family. There's my parents my three younger brothers and my younger sister again!

A Bit Of Catch Up!

Hello Everyone!

Well, I'm up here visiting friends in Rexburg and just thought that I'd post some pictures and stuff. This first one is a picture of the Rexburg temple during one of my many wonderful walks around the BYU-Idaho campus during the fall. I thought it was just great and it's such a beautiful temple.

This one is a picture of my sister and I. If you can't tell which is which....well, then you just don't know me that well. However, we are always told that we look incredibly alike.

The following pictures actually come from an accident that happened to Schultz (my car) the day after my graduation. Schultz and I haven't had the best of luck during the last couple of months, or maybe we've had some great luck. First, I got hit by a car while I was crossing a street, but I only had the injuries of a SWEET bruise, a bump on the head, and a couple of small black eyes. Schultz didn't want to be left out of this, so the day after graduation it snowed A LOT and the streets were way icy. I got Schultz all packed up so that we could head home and I was finishing with the cleaning of my apartment. My roommate and I were taking the garbage out and while we were watching a girl tried to turn into the apartment parking lot, started to slide, and who does she hit but poor Schultz! All I could do was stand there and say "Oh NO!" I couldn't exactly tell him to get out of the way, now could I? He just doesn't listen like that. Anyway, he was hurt, I was distraught.... Anyway, you don't have to worry, cause in both accident instances they had insurance. Therefore, I'm all healed and Schultz was repaired just this last week and we both look FABULOUS!!! And I finally got everything settled with the insurance for both accidents so we are happy as clams...or just happy like a person who had an awesome bruise and car named Schultz.

Anyway, another update in a little over a week. I really think that I'm spoiling whoever reads my blog. I'll try to come up with more things to put onto this. Maybe someday I'll add all the pictures from my San Antonio trek back to Idaho that I did in August and September. Better late then never!

Love ya'all!!

Happy New Year!

I was able to get some time to be on the internet so I thought that I would update some on things.

First: Happy New Year! I'm excited for 2009, lots of new experiences and things to try!

Second: Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday! It was great!

Third: I'm inserting my graduation pictures. I thought that I looked too cute to just leave me on my camera! I know that all of them have me in them, but....well that's just the way it is! Ha, ha, ha. My dad and friend, Teag are also featured in some of these dazzling pictures.
