October Post.......Fast!

Ok, I'm seeing that the month of October is counting down! I need to hurry. I still haven't gotten my picture stuff working with my computer. However, let's talk about some things that happened during this last month and a half.

I was able to attend the YSA Conference on Sept 19-20 in Ft. Worth, Texas, with my roommate Bethany and Tia. President Uchtdorf came and spoke on the Sunday of this conference. It was so much fun! Plus, Bethany and I were able to go to Medieval Times in Dallas, TX on Saturday night. We had a great time and loved the road-trip!

There are currently seven individuals living in our household. We have decided to start a monthly newsletter/blog for our apartment. Here we are able to post stories, anecdotes, and new information for the house. I want to let everyone know the blog is:
http://www.thewholeshebanghouse.blogspot.com
You can come to this, and see if you can spot yours truly. The newest edition is coming out in the next week as well.

I was able to do another day road-trip with Alisha and Bethany. We headed to Austin for a rescheduled Cake-Wrecks tour date. We even made it on a picture in the blog. Check this out:
http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2009/10/world-tour-wrap-up-austin.html
It's the second picture and I am the person that's in the upper right corner, underneath the black book. It was so much fun and am definitely entertained by the things on Cake Wrecks blog. That day we also went to IKEA, the book store, out for chinese food, visit Texas Capital building, then have a few hours of shopping at San Marcos Outlet malls. It was so awesome and amazing! Plus, I have the best of times when I'm hanging out with these two girls.

Work has been busy, but I've been having to get back into a routine. I need to hurry and post this. I've had an interesting Halloween. It was a fun day and evening, but then it just kind of got crappy. However, I'm just being emotional.

Only four minutes left to post, so here you go. I'm starting to get a little nervous that I won't make it. I'm looking for ward to November and I'll try to post in the next day or so.

P.S. I also got afflicted with a skin irritation during one of these weekends. I've got a picture of that. I started looking like the bride of the Stay-puff Marshmallow Man. :S Always lovely!

(Ha, two minutes before midnight!)

Wow. ........ Really?!

I know that this is coming pretty quickly after the last update. I just thought that everyone would be amazed by this.....

I am going on......a reduction of sweet intake in the hopes of losing some much needed weight. In other words.... it's kind of a..... diet?...... :P

I'm taking this stuff called TAIslim with a couple of my meals that may brother and his wife got me to purchase. We'll see if it helps. It has worked for them, which is why I'm giving it a try. Anyway, I know that this is crazy, but..... I need to give something a try to get rid of this belly fat that I's got!

Now don't go insane on me. Cause I still intend to eat my chocolate, just not as a three times a day snack..... or an even greater number times a day snack. I'm going to not eat as much junk stuff and try to eat more of the fruits, vegetables, and grains that I need. I know. I feel like a grown-up now. :)

I'm not working out as much as I used to, but I've been trying to keep more busy at work, which means I'm spending longer there, therefore I don't want to spend as much time doing a work out. However, The Biggest Loser newest season is starting back up here soon, so maybe it'll be inspiring to me! Thanks Mandi, for getting me hooked on it!

Since I still don't have any new pictures to show, I'm going to insert an Il Divo Youtube video because I love listening to them sing and I wanted to put a translation so that I can remember what they are singing to me! *Blush.* I love that they sing to me! The song is The Power of Love (La Fuerza Mayor) by Il Divo.

Translation:
I will protect you from your fears
I am your prince charming
Angel of the sky
There is nothing to be afraid
Today as yesterday,

You are always going to have me

Only your love matters, give it to me
Here I am.

[Chorus]
The biggest strength is in the love
It's inside

The goal is to give it, indeed to show it

Without reason...with the heart.

I promise you that I will take care of you

I will live just to love you

When you are sad I will be there

With this immense love that I feel for you

You will never be cheated

You will be the only thing.

[Chorus]
The biggest strength is in the love
It's inside

The goal is to give it, indeed to show it

Without reason. With the heart.

Loving is understanding

It is to give the heart completely

It is to kiss...to forgive

It is a treasure, a great gift

Only your love matters, give it to me

Here I am.

[Chorus 2x]
The biggest strength is in the love
It's inside

The goal is to give it, indeed to show it

Without reason...with the heart.

Awww, isn't that just the sweetest thing?! And aren't they just hot?!

The Last Option

I'm sorry but I don't have any new pictures on this post.

I really want to, but I just got the newest software for my computer (which is AWESOME) and am very very happy!

You may wonder what has been keeping me from blogging during this month. Well let's talk about some options. There's my job. That could be one. I am enjoying it though! Been keeping busy. There's my calling in the ward, which is to text people when events or activities happen. Also takes about....during the busy weeks, a half hour.....or maybe twenty minutes. But let's look at the real time waster......Can we say "Friends" altogether?! FRIENDS! I have been watching Friends. No not actual people I know, but the T.V. series from long ago. That's a good place to spend all my time! But I have to say Chandler is the funniest, I think. So, that series went for a really long time. Ten seasons to be exact. I started these about three weeks ago. Can you guess where I'm at? I just finished the first disk of Season 8. That's why I haven't blogged.

Other good news, all should be happy to know that I have begun receiving basic guitar lessons from my laptop. Actually he's a man inside my laptop named Tim. And as all of you know, Tim is NOT the name of my computer. But I'm not cheating on him, or either of them. We're all FRIENDS!

This is being delivered at the end of the month of August. I keep my word. Ha ha! :)

Talk to ya'll later.

Flying Time!

I am now sitting in the San Antonio Airport waiting to board my flight! I'm so excited to come home, even if it is only for a little bit! I can't wait. My family is doing their annual vacation to Lagoon and Salt Lake City! However, while going through security one of my headphones broke, so I had to grab a new one.....expensive even for the cheap one. But I'm okay. I had to have my headphones! What else am I supposed to listen to?

Two posts in one month?! This is insane!

Some quick updates on my life:

For July weekend, on July 3rd (to beat out the crowds) I and my roommate went to downtown San Antonio and hung out at the Riverwalk. We went and had an excellent lunch.

Went and saw the new Star Trek movie - very great! Lots of action. I really hot guys! It's all good.

I'm planning on watching the newest Harry Potter movie coming out this week! I'll be going with my roommates! Very exciting.

I watched a couple of seasons of the office - I love Jim and Pam and the pranks that they play on Dwight.

I think the final thing is a great fun experience. We recently got a trampoline at our house. A quick rainstorm started coming down and I was the only one at home. So the first place I ran to was the trampoline! Of course! I loved it! Once it gets all filled with water, the moisture comes back up when you come down! It was awesome! I started getting pictures taken once a roommate and her friend got home but the rain had stopped coming down by then. :( However, we still got some pictures and then another roomie joined me on the trampoline! I know that I look dorky in all these shots, but hey, I just need to practice being more photogenic on a trampoline. It's always good to have a goal! :)

There's also a little video:

And people wonder why I'm not married yet. Crazy!

Transformers 2 and 4th of July Plans

Hey! I'm getting a head start on this month and putting in a new post like, the first day of the month. Pretty much awesome!

I actually did go and do something last night.....I got to go and see the newest Transformers! I loved the special effects! I thought it was good (and I already like the score and part of the soundtrack cause I've been listening to those.

Other than that, I have not done really anything new except work. However, for the 4th of July, one of my roommates and I will be heading to downtown San Antonio to eat out along the River Walk. It'll be crowded but should be a great deal of fun!

Well, I'm going to leave you with another Anthony Griffiths youtube video because I find him way WAY funny and hope that you do too!

"We was in the kitchen! Where'd dirt come from?!"

Ha ha, I love it!

Inciting Fights!

Okay, so, I figure once a month, I'll can put an update up of my blog. In honor of father's day, I'm putting up a url for a video on youtube by a comedian named Anthony Griffiths. I thought it was so funny! This guy is great! This one is called The Holdup! Go real men!!!! :o)

Happy father's day to my dad! (Even though he doesn't have the internet so he won't get this.)

I'm going to be going to Idaho in July but I'll only be there for Saturday, cause my family will be leaving for their annual vacation in Utah. But I'm really excited to go! I've got my plane tickets and the time cleared out at work!

A Day In The Life Of Me!!!

Okay, so we wanted a more in depth look into what I actually do with myself throughout the day.....

.....

Oh, man! What do I do with myself all day?.........

Well, I......no, I don't..........

I might..........nope, never mind........

Alright, new plan. We'll start with common features.

I normally wake up about 6:30 a.m., but laze about my bed til 7:30 a.m. before leaping out of my bed and getting ready for my work day. One of the things I like best about work is you could get dressed up if you want, but for the most part, I can dress as I did going to class except no t-shirts unless they have some influence or involvement from the company. It makes me happy that I can still be relaxed and comfortable there. (I haven't tried dressing up for work since the first day.)

I get to work ~8:00 a.m., try to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing at work. I have been buying boxes of Twix and Snickers at Coscos, so I've been keeping myself well-supplied with chocolate while at work. I try to exercise my will-power by not having one until after 10a.m., some days I'm more successful then others, and it inevitably happens that as soon as I break down and have one type of candy bar, nothing will be acceptable but to have the other one soon after. After all, it's swine flu season apparently, and with that going around, I'm not going to risk a single day of getting sick, so I'm eating the chocolate for self-preservation and medical reasons!

Normally, at 12:00, I go to a 10 min abs class. I don't have to dress down for it, so I can just show up and do the little workout. I'm trying to develop my one pack that I have into at least something resembling a different type of pack of any other number combinations. After working out we walk the company building, which makes it almost a two mile walk in less then 30 mins. It's pretty relaxing for me as I'm able to go really fast with my joy in walking and natural long stride.

Then it's back to me trying to figure out work or not. I might go and grab lunch, or bring my own, or not eat and instead have the fruit snacks that say they're giving me 100% of my Vitamin C, which is the reason why they are not pictured in the photo above. I also have a standing issue with some left-over chocolate mini-eggs that I hoarded over from Easter. This year, I bought in bulk before Easter when I would find them at Wal-mart. The day before Easter, I had accumulated about 10 bags of mini-eggs for storage during the time til Christmas, when, hopefully, Cadbury will bring out it's holiday Christmas mini-eggs. Of course, the Easter bags are not lasting like I hope, as you can see from the picture there are only three bags left (though one is not shown as it is at my work desk). I have given myself restrictions when having them at work. I can only open a new bag of them sometime after 3:00p.m. (as it takes me much less then an hour to eat an entire bag by myself), and any leftovers (ones that miraculously were not consumed before the end of my work day that day) cannot be consumed until after 3:00p.m. the next time that I wish to eat them (which normally falls on the next day). But what I've found, is that with my knowledge of my dwindling supply, I am not as likely to open a new bag as often. So I torture myself everyday with seeing it in my candy drawer at work, but have not as much desire to open it as they could be close to an extinct food source for me. I have them on days that I cannot resist them anymore. And by the way, I am still trying to work during these internal struggles that I have with myself.

At ~5:00p.m., I head down to one of the fitness centers that they have with work and I run on the treadmill for about 40 mins. I'm normally able to get about 3.5 miles of running in, which I really love doing. I'm feeling the chocolate consumption working through my body, so I feel really great about consuming it. Then, and this is really surprising, I've started lifting weights and stuff, so after my run, I probably spend about another 40 mins going around to different machines, focusing on strengthening my arms and just doing some stuff for my legs for fun! It's been really good for me to get back into an exercise routine, as I never did at college because it would make me too tired and then I would never get my homework done (how can you stay up all night working on homework when you are exhausted!). Anyway, in the picture below you can see my workout bag that I use.

After work and working out, the traffic has dissapated enough for me to get comfortably home in Schultz and from there I've been playing around. I've been decorating the walls of my room with puzzles. Some of them are old ones from college that I really love and then others are new ones that I've done recently to take up more space.

I've gotta get ready for church now, so I'm going to post since they come so few and far between. But anyway the next two pictures are of me in a shirt that my parents got me when they went on their trip with Greg to the East coast. They got me an awesome chocolate shirt that I absolutely adore from Hershey's Time Square in New York!

I'll try to post more things that I've been doing tonight, but of course.....let's not hold me to my word.

"As Time Goes By......"

Okay, I know that I have been just awful. I would like to take this opportunity to tell Cami that I am sorry that I didn't post anything on my blog a couple of Sundays ago, when I had told her that I would be doing that as soon as I got off the phone with her. A definition for "Liar" is: a person who lies. A definition for "Lies" is: to present a false impression, be deceptive. I would like it understood that at the time that I said it, it was not a lie, but turned into a lie when I did not do what I said. And to quote Hagrid from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, "If anyone wanted ter find out some stuff, all they'd have ter do would be ter follow the spiders. That'd lead 'em right! That's all I'm sayin'."

Anyway, many have been wondering how I am liking Texas! I'm doing great! Right now I'm living in a house with six other girls, so it's still like being in college, only I'm working 40 hours a week instead. But it's kind of late at night right now, so I'll have to post more later, however I should be more apt to do that because I want to talk about what I've been doing while I'm down here. So I'll write that to ya'll later!

Update

Sorry about being so slow to update. I think that whenever I actually have the internet access so easily at my disposal, I don't update....hmmmm, maybe I could do a scientific experiment....or just leave it to fate. (Let's not try to exert ourselves too much, shall we?)

Anyway, I moved back to Texas at the end of February and am currently set up in my own room living in a house with 6 other girls, so it's fun and crazy here like at college but without the homework. It's nice. I'll try to take some pictures and update really soon, but I was able to get my haircut last week, though it's not as short as some....Cami.....

I look forward to checking others updates and I'll try to be better about relating some of the happenings here in Texas!

Lots of Love to All!

Auburn? Or Not?

Okay, so it's been a while since I did this....this being getting my hair dyed with my preferred color - auburn!

Let's start at the beginning.
Tired of that dull brown hair....

Then begin changing it up...

To AUBURN!!!!!

Doesn't that look like so much fun?! I look so much happier, all because my hair color has changed.... just kidding. It's actually very subtle and will really start showing if I'm out in the sun. But I still love it and think that it's great!

P.S. I was actually playing with some of the features on my laptop to see what sort of editing I can do, so I'm reposting some of the graduation pictures and adding a couple of panoramics too!

The panoramics may look small but click on them and see what they look like.

More Random Pictures

Here are some more random photos that I took. In this picture you can see the beauty of Idaho in the winter time. The snow is here right now and I am really enjoying it (particularly because I'm not likely to see much of it when I go down to Texas).

This next picture are of me and my great friend Janae just playing around with my camera while we were waiting in her car at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. I like the picture of me because it helps me to look so....innocent.... mwhahahahahahaha!

I'm also inserting another picture of my family that I took. I actually thought that it turned out quite well. This is only a little part of my family. There's my parents my three younger brothers and my younger sister again!

A Bit Of Catch Up!

Hello Everyone!

Well, I'm up here visiting friends in Rexburg and just thought that I'd post some pictures and stuff. This first one is a picture of the Rexburg temple during one of my many wonderful walks around the BYU-Idaho campus during the fall. I thought it was just great and it's such a beautiful temple.

This one is a picture of my sister and I. If you can't tell which is which....well, then you just don't know me that well. However, we are always told that we look incredibly alike.

The following pictures actually come from an accident that happened to Schultz (my car) the day after my graduation. Schultz and I haven't had the best of luck during the last couple of months, or maybe we've had some great luck. First, I got hit by a car while I was crossing a street, but I only had the injuries of a SWEET bruise, a bump on the head, and a couple of small black eyes. Schultz didn't want to be left out of this, so the day after graduation it snowed A LOT and the streets were way icy. I got Schultz all packed up so that we could head home and I was finishing with the cleaning of my apartment. My roommate and I were taking the garbage out and while we were watching a girl tried to turn into the apartment parking lot, started to slide, and who does she hit but poor Schultz! All I could do was stand there and say "Oh NO!" I couldn't exactly tell him to get out of the way, now could I? He just doesn't listen like that. Anyway, he was hurt, I was distraught.... Anyway, you don't have to worry, cause in both accident instances they had insurance. Therefore, I'm all healed and Schultz was repaired just this last week and we both look FABULOUS!!! And I finally got everything settled with the insurance for both accidents so we are happy as clams...or just happy like a person who had an awesome bruise and car named Schultz.

Anyway, another update in a little over a week. I really think that I'm spoiling whoever reads my blog. I'll try to come up with more things to put onto this. Maybe someday I'll add all the pictures from my San Antonio trek back to Idaho that I did in August and September. Better late then never!

Love ya'all!!

Happy New Year!

I was able to get some time to be on the internet so I thought that I would update some on things.

First: Happy New Year! I'm excited for 2009, lots of new experiences and things to try!

Second: Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday! It was great!

Third: I'm inserting my graduation pictures. I thought that I looked too cute to just leave me on my camera! I know that all of them have me in them, but....well that's just the way it is! Ha, ha, ha. My dad and friend, Teag are also featured in some of these dazzling pictures.
