Now Now, Put Down The Pitchforks and Torches

Okay, folks. There is no reason to resort to violence.....HEY! I SAID PUT DOWN THE......HEY!!!

Alright, how about some lies instead, I have.....been traveling.....on Saturn....lovely little planet, though a little stormy. Definitely should try going sometime, if you have the chance. Anyway, apparently on.....Saturn.....access to Internet is limited.....the Saturnians use it a lot.....something about world domination....or is it destruction....Not important. Anyway, when I did get onto my blog, apparently any post of mine, well....my post would get lost somewhere between Saturn and, well um, Earth. Crazy, I know. Kind of Ironic. Yup.

Why are you going for the pitchforks again?! You know that.....LOOK! A PICTURE!

This is me at home for Christmas in Idaho.

Ok, I get it, you don't like the Saturn story. How about I tell you.....'what in the world?' (Haha, get the movie reference, if you didn't that's "inconceivable!" :D)

So, you may have noticed that I haven't successfully posted anything on this blog since....um, Halloween. You might have been wondering if I am alive, or if the chocolate finally has done me in. I'm reporting now that the chocolate has not done me in, though it has begun doing the job of creating more of me to love! (aka, I'm getting fatter)

Other things that I've been doing since then, one of my younger brothers has left on his mission for Minnesota, I traveled home for Christmas, did Black Friday shopping at the Prime Outlets and had the best luck there ever, went on an East Coast government/history tour with my little sister, I've moved to a new house in San Antonio, I went to a company Christmas Party that REO Speedwagon performed at. I had to get a new DVD player to replace the one that I've had for the last almost 8 years, and um, I got an iPhone (which is really great and I love having it), and my calling in my old ward has been communication specialist, which I have continued doing though, I've been living in a different ward for the past month. One of my older brothers and his wife are going to have another little baby, and my brother that's just younger than me is getting married in the temple to someone who I haven't met, but who I'm sure is wonderful! I've replenished my Cadbury Mini-egg collection. Oh, and I've maybe put in a little time at work, you know, when I can fit it in to my busy schedule. And I just got a hair cut. Thought you'd want to know about that.

k, I'm going to give you some more pictures and then I need to get to bed.

This is me when I was sick and looked a lot like the Bride of Staypuff Marshmallow Man, back in September. (Which incidentally, I recently got Ghostbusters. I'm going to have to watch that here soon!)

This is me at the top of the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, TX. I was with my cousin Kari on this little excursion, and she forgot that she was kind of afraid of heights, until we started to take the elevator up to the top.

Last but not least, here's is me in front of Ms. Liberty. That is Ms. Statue of Liberty.

I know that it might seem quite Narcisstic (sp?) (it's ok to misspell anything as long as you put '(sp?)' at the end of it, that's something that I learned on my mission and have used it a lot since then, though I don't think that my college teachers really appreciated it as much as I thought that they should have), anyway, because all of these pictures only have me in them (though there were some cows in the first one).

My reasons for this are three fold -
1. I don't want to have to ask my friends if I take their picture, if I can put it on my blog. And I don't want them to tell me know. I don't deal well with negativity like that. So, if I don't take pictures of them, I can't post them, and they can't hate me, and therefore, they don't have a good enough excuse to not stay my friends. You see, it's a control issue.
2. I'm getting fat. You are lucky that I even posted pictures that had me in them. I don't like the way that I look in pictures, and I don't like to ask other people to take pictures of me, therefore, I take a lot of pictures of statues and buildings and what-not. You should feel so blessed about the pictures that I even put up! Do you feel better now? (Prolly not, but remember, I don't like negativity...... :D )
3. I'm Narcisistic (sp?) (Ah, another try at it. I don't think that I got any closer.)!

There! My three fold explanation of the pictures. Everyone should be happy now. Don't tell me if you aren't, because I won't listen (see reason #3)!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

I'll write back on Halloween! (j/k,.....maybe *wink wink* )
